American Camp Associated (ACA) Accreditation means that Elks Camp Moore cares enough to undergo a thorough review of its operational procedures from staff qualifications and training to emergency management. The American Camp Association collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth-serving agencies to ensure that current practices at our Camp program reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in all of camp operations.

ACA-Accreditation focuses on multiple aspects of camp operations including :

     5. Staff Training, Qualifications and Supervision Standards

     6. Program Design

With over 300 elite standards and practices we are responsible for ongoing implementation demonstrating how Elks Camp More achieves above and beyond the industry-accepted and government-recognized standards.

New Jersey Youth Camp Safety Act - Licensed

Elks Camp Moore is Licensed and inspected by the New Jersey State Department of Health. The Youth Camp Safety Project is the principal authority on matters relating to health and safety conditions at youth camps within the state. Before opening, Elks Camp Moore receives an annual pre-operational inspections (conducted by the local health authority) as well as operational inspections (conducted by the Public Health and Food Protection Program) to determine compliance with the Youth Camp Safety Standards rules.
